FireWatch processes the location or address you provide to return nearby wildfire, weather, smoke, road, and preparedness information. Requests may be sent to the public-data and mapping services needed to provide those results.

FireWatch records daily aggregate counts for page visits and report starts, successes, and errors. These cookieless events do not contain the location or address, account identifiers, referrers, IP-address fields, or browser details. Technical logs may separately be retained by hosting and service providers for reliability and security.
